Volunteering

Volunteering can make a great difference in the lives of the children as well as their community in number of ways.  Just with your presence, you bring a laugh or a smile in the faces of the children.  With the assistance of volunteers like you, we can create change with a lasting effect for the future of Africa.

What Do Volunteers Do?

Volunteers participate in hands-on services to children in rural villages and refugee camps where COW F works.  Volunteers are immersed in international health and development programs while providing love and care to children living in extreme poverty.

The goal of COW F and its partners is to create opportunities where children can grow up to their full potential.  COW F's volunteers (local and visiting) work with partner in developing communities in expanding their knowledge and skills on providing care and support to OVC.    

While helping the community, volunteers are in a position to witness and draw their own conclusions about the extreme needs faced by the community, especially the children. It broadens their view of what works, and what role they can have to insure that every child’s right is advocated for.

Who Is Eligible to Participate?

Volunteers are 18 years and older, and there is no upper age limit.
